Water will be used to help the break-in and shaping process when possible.  Gloves will be tested beforehand to make sure it's safe.  Gloves will immediately be fan-dried then conditioned. The yumomi method is a Japanese break-in technique that involves fully submerging the glove in warm water to soften the leather, followed by manual shaping and pounding.
